Haley Abrams is an associate attorney at Genus Law Group, where she focuses her practice on family law matters. Haley brings a unique blend of trauma-informed advocacy and behavioral insight to her work, offering clients both compassionate support and strong legal representation. She is deeply committed to helping families navigate emotionally charged situations with clarity, confidence, and dignity.
Haley has a long standing passion for working with children and vulnerable populations. Early in her career, she worked at a safe house for domestic violence and human trafficking survivors, providing crisis response and trauma-informed care. She later served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate in family law proceedings, where she investigated cases, met with children and caregivers, and made recommendations to the court regarding the best interests of the child. These experiences shaped her child-centered approach to practice and reinforced her dedication to ensuring that clients feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout the legal process.
Before joining Genus Law Group, Haley spent nearly a decade with the U.S. Department of Justice, where she gained extensive experience analyzing human behavior, conducting sensitive investigations, and responding to crisis situations.
Haley earned her Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law, graduating cum laude. She also holds a Master’s degree in Forensic & Legal Psychology from Marymount University, graduating summa cum laude, and dual bachelor’s degrees in Criminology and Psychology from the University of South Florida, graduating summa cum laude.
